On May 23, clashes in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur Province, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) forced thousands of families to run for their lives. Continued fighting has forced over 221,000 people to flee -- around half of them are children. Many have lost their homes, schools or, worse, their loved ones. Fleeing to evacuation centres or relatives and friends in nearby provinces, children's lives have been turned upside down. They are in dire need of our help.
